Poppies

It’s Saturday morning, and the plan of wife and kids is to head out to one of the farms outside town to pick strawberries. She tells me of a poppy field that she has seen close by a few days earlier and so I am in, camera (Fujifilm X100F) in my pocket.

Poppies are not rare where we live. Typically you would find them single or in small groups next to cornfields and grasslands. This time however it was more than just that, there was a sea of red in front of me which needed to be captured!
