Winter is about to leave and we had now a couple of sunny days with warming light. Just a few weeks ago we had a cold snap though and I took the opportunity to make photographs of a phenomenon I hadn’t seen before coming to Montreal – a steaming river, with fog so dense that bridges seem to span over the St Lawrence water with no pillars.
The Fuji X-T1 did serve me well that morning with temperatures around -30°C. All images were taken with the XF 27mm, so overall a slim setup which allowed me to store away the camera under my jacket between the shots.
